It raises interesting political questions. In the case of Roswell, it was easy for the US citizens (especially 50 years later) to forgive their government for this lye, based on the fact it was for everyone’s good to monitor the Russians. They nevertheless lyied, created a full cover story instead and used the media to make it accepted by the audience.
Based on past events, can the media be believed when it covers big-deal stories ? When you read all those official reports in which government agencies reckon having lyied in the media, how can you ever believe their new statements in the media ?
How much longer until the US government gets out of the closet regarding 9/11 ? 50 years ? I bet more for a few centuries…so let’s remain agnostic.
