Many foreigners coming to live in Singapore sooner or later complain about Singapour being a boring island with nothing to do in it.
No wonder the multiplicity of Singapore's cultural events is a funny joke for a Parisian or a New Yorker. Yet there is a few non-cultural activities one can do on evenings or week ends that will just spice up the daily routine. Among them, water sports ...

This is a mode of advertising that I fancy very much. No more general "Because you are worth it", faking to make you special while it's in fact targeting mass public.
In Rotterdam, Fitness First, an international chain of fitness rooms, has designed this really cool bus shelter a few meters away from their fitness room.
Although I value the originality of this design, I wonder to what extent the ...

According to Abraham Maslow, human needs are to be sorted by priority into 5 levels, thus forming a pyramid. First, Maslow's official pyramid, followed by...a version adapted for Singapore :)

Today, I am coming to you with a great, great little but fun band from New Zealand. Using music as a vector of humour is something mastered in. With their hilarious lyrics, great voices, and very expressive face and body expressions, it looks more like a sit-up comedy show than like a music performance.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you know everything except gentlemen, please enjoy the Flight of the Conchords.

My friends (robotics club sweet times) pushed the pranks further to not wrap just my chair, but also ME ON IT...with a vaacum cleaner attached to my feet, how random is that uh ? I think those bastards even took pictures of that wrapped and taped (not so?) human-looking thing struggling with what seems to be their teeth to free themselves.
These pranks are the type of things that ...

Uncle Milton Industries has been selling ant farms to children since 1956. Some years ago, I remember opening one up with a friend. There were no actual ants included in the box. Instead, there was a card that you filled in with your address, and the company would mail you some ants. My friend expressed surprise that you could get ants sent to you in the mail.
I ...
